THE SPIRIT OF RELIGION IN THE BODY OF CHRIST-1 Samuel 15:23
The Religious spirits are evil spirits Satan has sent to infiltrate the Church of Christ.
They fix Christians into a religious mould, causing them to have “ a form of godliness, while denying its power” ( 2 Timothy 3: 5).
The hallmark of Holy Spirit’s power in a persons life is TRANSFORMATION!
A transforming or transformed life shows you have spent and are spending quality time with Holy Spirit!
This transformative power is being denied by those who spend their time engaging with religious spirits- busy putting up an OUTWARD DISPLAY OF RELIGIOUSNESS but lacking true inward transformation!
Christians ruled by religious spirits WALK IN THE FLESH and DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT !
They work, not with Divine Wisdom, but with the ‘ understanding of the mind’!
MANIFESTING RELIGIOUS SPIRITS IN CHURCH -
Those in bondage to religious spirits are offended and triggered by those who walk in the spirit!
Their demons are triggered by spiritual acts, such as unreserved expressions of love and praise to God!
HALLELUJAH is a praise weapon that makes these demons tremble!
Why? Because God is triggered to act on behalf of His People when they show in ACTION that they are “ all for Him!”.
God is not moved to act in response to lip service- prayers heartlessly and mindlessly recited while “sitting pretty” and “ looking good” on a church pew!
But if God sees someone who is willing to go against the status quo, risking even their own dignity in bringing heartfelt praises to the Lord, THEN HE IS MOVED TO ACT ON THEIR BEHALF!
Then these religious spirits lose control over their captives and are forced to let go of them!
So they make their captives come against those worshipping God in spirit and truth!
WHO TOLD CHRISTIANS THAT HOLY EMOTIONS ARE BANNED IN CHURCH?
God is an emotional being Who experiences love, joy, anger, disgust etc. and we are made in His Image!
Man is a spirit being living in a body and having a soul ( mind, emotions and will).
God endorses that all three aspects are used in His Worship!
2 Samuel 6:14-22 (NLT)
14 And David DANCED before the Lord with all his might, wearing a priestly garment.[a] 15 So David and all the people of Israel brought up the Ark of the Lord with SHOUTS OF JOY and the blowing of rams’ horns.
So shouts of joy and dancing are legitimate and important aspects of worship that triggers or moves God to act on our behalf!
This is a spiritual truth amply illustrated in the Word of God!
SO DECIDE TODAY WHOM YOU SHALL SERVE :
Will you worship in the Holy Spirit “in spirit and in truth” or become emotionless ( dead) zombies to please religious spirits and their agents in church.
These are joyless people who have no heart to bring on a shout of praise; and misery loves company! They want all to be as joyless as they are!
As for me, I shall shout and dance as the Holy Spirit prompts me, no matter how many religious spirits manifest!
THEY MANIFEST TO BE TAKEN DOWN BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD! HALLELUJAH!!!
No longer will they be allowed to hide in church and wreck their havoc in secret!
COME ON, HOLY SPIRIT!
TRANSFORM YOUR CHURCH !
Also, we are the Bride of Christ!
He has PASSIONATE love for us! And what is passion than ardent emotion?
How can we be His Bride if we cannot reflect and reciprocate His passionate LOVE for us?
Would He marry a passionless zombie???
This is food for thought!
Go to Holy Spirit for your answer- for it is He Who searches the deep things ( Heart) of God!
